hi, i'm aashika!
Design found me through sociology and, I still can't look at a space, a habit, or an app without asking why do people move through this the way they do. Working alongside people who stir that same curiosity is what energizes me most.
Outside of design, I'm usually training Brazilian jiu-jitsu, or spending an entire Sunday on a cooking project that gets eaten in twenty minutes (because I think care shows up in the parts nobody has to notice. I bring the same instinct to design).
Teaching myself to get as comfortable on code editors as I am on Figma. (In video: my Letterboxd watchlist orbiting until it picks my next movie.)
